The Scott Resort & Spa is a charming desert oasis in the heart of Scottsdale. The environment feels peaceful from the moment you walk in and is in the perfect location for home base. If you’re hungry after check in, The Canal Club located within the resort offers a classic American menu with a Cuban twist. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!
Just around the corner, Old Town Scottsdale is filled with shops to browse and streets to wander. One of our favorite stops is Sugar Bowl. The decor alone makes it a fun stop - but you can’t go wrong with any of their sundaes either.
For dinner head to Diego Pops for some tacos. This lively spot has a great atmosphere and the food options will help mark the end of a great first day and leave you smiling and satisfied.

Wake up and start off the morning at La Grande Orange. This is a one stop shop for great coffee and baked goods, cafe choices, and grocery items. Fuel up and grab a couple snacks because you're just a short drive from your next destination. Only 10 minutes away, Camelback Mountain is waiting to be hiked. At 4.8 miles round trip, this famous rocky Arizona hike is not for the faint of heart. Bring lots of water and prepare for some stunning views of the desert. If you are looking for a more kid friendly option, head to Wind Cave Trail in Mesa. This trail is 3.2 miles round trip and gives you a beautiful view of the valley.
Post-hike exhaustion is bound to have set in and the poolside is calling your name. Head back to The Scott to soak up the sun and get some rest. Lux is a great little stop for an afternoon coffee - they have locations in Central Phoenix and Scottsdale, and the pastry and food options are super delicious.
Settle down for dinner at Postino. This relaxed cafe features build-your-own charcuterie boards, delicious sandwiches and salads, as well as a great outdoor patio space. What more could you ask for? Linger as long as you’d like and then head to Churn or Crumbl to pick up dessert.

Leaving so soon? Before you’re off, venture to The Coffee Shop or Liberty Market for breakfast or lunch in Gilbert. Downtown Gilbert is a great area to walk around and enjoy the weather.
Well daedreamers, that wraps up your time in Arizona! Hopefully you return soon soon to explore more amazing spots.
