This Privacy Policy for Dae Inc. (“Dae”, “we”, “us” “our”) describes how we collect, use and disclose information about users, shoppers and visitors, who attend our in-person events, use our websites, services, tools, features and functionalities that link to this Privacy Policy, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”). For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means you as the user of the Services. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the last revised date, post the updated version on our website, and take any other steps necessary to comply with applicable law.

1.              HOW WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

When you access or use our Services, or otherwise engage with us, we may collect the following information about you.

 

●      Contact information: Name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.

●      Demographic information: Lifestyle, hair texture, date of birth, gender, income, hobbies, social media handles, and information about your interests.

●      Account information: Username, photograph, password, security questions, and previous transactions.

●      Payment information: Credit/debit card information, banking information, shipping address, and billing address.

●      Information about your use of the Services: Features, products, and Services that you are interested in and have purchased, comments, feedback, reviews, and testimonials you provide, post, or otherwise make available (which includes photographs and other content).

●      Any other information you choose to provide: This includes product reviews, pictures and videos, responses to surveys, participation in contests, and any other information that you choose to include in communications with us, for example, when uploading content, sending us an email, or completing a webform.

In addition, our website, like most websites, uses third party tools, including cookies, pixels, session recording and other tracking technologies (“Tracking Technologies”), including Google Analytics, to provide and enhance the performance of our Services, facilitate and enhance user experience, advertise to you, monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with the Services and conduct internal research and development. We use personal information to respond to your requests, questions and feedback, and communicate with you about our Services, including by sending announcements, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages. We also use your information to facilitate your engagement with the Services and our business, including to enable you to post product reviews, pictures and videos, respond to surveys, participate in contests and post on social media.

This includes: understanding your needs and interests, and personalizing your experience with the Services and our communications; developing new products and services; and developing, training, and fine-tuning the AI models we use to support the Services and to develop new features and products. You may access and update the personal information in your accounts by logging into your account through our website.

Opt Out of Marketing Communications 

You may opt out of marketing-related communications by following the opt out or unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communication we send you. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing communications.

Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and subject to certain exemptions, you may have the following privacy rights in relation to the personal information we collect:

  • The right to know what personal information we have collected and how we have used and disclosed that personal information. We provide this information within this Privacy Policy.
  • The right to request a copy of the personal information that we have collected about you. Where applicable, we will provide the information in a portable, machine-readable and readily-usable format.
  • The right to correct personal information that is inaccurate or out of date.

Do Not Track Signals

Certain features of the Services permit you to initiate interactions between the Services and third-party services or platforms, such as social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) (“Social Features”). Social Features include features that allow you to click and access Dae’s pages on certain third-party platforms, and from there to “like” or “share” our content on those platforms or contribute to playlists. Use of Social Features may entail a third party’s collection and/or use of your data. If you use Social Features or similar third-party services, information you post or otherwise make accessible may be publicly displayed by the third-party service you are using. Both Dae and the third party may have access to information about you and your use of both the Services and the third-party service. We may provide links to third-party websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social media platforms (such as Facebook or Instagram) may also be viewable by other users of the Services and/or users of those third-party online platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party.
