Healthy from the inside out

Even if you’ve got your hair care routine down to a science, it’s equally as important for you to maintain a healthy diet for happy hair. You don’t have to go to great lengths to better your eating habits, these fan-favorite foods are an accessible and delicious way to heal your hair from the inside out.

Eggs

Packed with protein and biotin, eggs are a small but mighty resource for hair growth and overall health. A deficiency in either of these essentials is linked to hair loss—so start scrambling some eggs!

Fish

Fish oil contains Omega 3 fatty acid, something our bodies can’t produce on its own. Salmon, herring, and mackerel, in particular, are extremely high in fatty acids, which has been linked to higher hair density.

Berries

Exploding with antioxidants and vitamin C, berries help the body produce more collagen, a protein that helps strengthen hair strands and prevents it from becoming broken and brittle.

Spinach

A dark leafy green is usually a sign of a nutrient-rich veggie. Spinach has tons of iron, Vitamin A, C, K, B1, folate, and more. Spinach nourishes your scalp and regulates the production of oil, all while increasing your keratin and collagen levels.

Sweet potatoes

Bring shine back into dull hair with sweet potatoes. They’re stacked with beta carotene, an antioxidant that your body converts into Vitamin A, which protects against dull, dry strands.
