How to Recycle Your Dae Products

Here at dae, we not only put a lot of thought into our ingredients but our sustainability efforts, too. From cruelty-free testing to water initiatives, we try to minimize our carbon footprint wherever possible.

When shopping dae products, you can do your part by learning the proper ways to recycle our packaging—every properly-disposed bottle makes a difference. A recent study done by Yale University revealed that the United States only recycles 22% of discarded materials—an astronomically low and alarming percentage, especially if we want to see any environmental change for the better.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Recycling does more than reduce the amount of waste that goes into a landfill. The process of remanufacturing and converting used materials into something new again minimizes the amount of wasted energy and resources. When we recycle, there’s less of a need to cut down trees and burn through other raw materials that our earth relies on in order to stay green, growing, and healthy.

Recycling is such an easy and effective way to do your part, and yet it’s severely overlooked. Take the extra 30 seconds out of your day to be sure your empty plastic, glass, and paper waste is going to the right place.

RECYCLE OUR PRODUCTS

All of the following Dae products are recyclable:

Signature Shampoo

Signature Conditioner

Deep Conditioning Treatment

Prickly Pear Hair Oil

Monsoon Moisture Mask

Cactus Flower Leave-In Conditioner

Hibiscus Wave Spray

When you’ve run out of one of these products, simply wash the bottle clean, peel the label off, throw out the pump, and put the bottle into the recycling bin.

OUR FIRST FULLY RECYCLABLE PRODUCT

We’re also proud to say that we have our first fully recyclable product: the Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream. The tube is made from sugarcane (otherwise known as “bioresin”) and its cap is made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.
